Our brand-new academic camp designed to inspire and educate young minds in STEM! Scheduled for August 5-16 from 9-4pm, this two-week program promises an immersive experience in math and science for 12-14-year-old girls and gender-expansive youth. Please share with families & friends!

What sets this camp apart is our exceptional team of educators who are dedicated to nurturing curiosity and fostering a love for STEM subjects. Led by Alexis Hibbler, Acera’s passionate Physics and Mathematics educator, and Viktor Grigoryan, our esteemed Math Curriculum Coordinator, students will embark on a journey of discovery and learning that extends beyond traditional classroom boundaries.

Alexis Hibbler, an MIT alumna with a deep-rooted passion for physics, has already captivated our students with her innovative teaching style and engaging electives like Astrobiology. She believes in empowering students to explore the wonders of physics through hands-on experiments and critical thinking.

Viktor Grigoryan, with a rich academic background including a Ph.D. from the University of Massachusetts, brings a wealth of experience in making mathematics meaningful and accessible across different educational levels. His approach emphasizes practical problem-solving and collaborative learning, ensuring every student thrives in their mathematical journey.

Throughout the camp, participants will delve into foundational math concepts from PreAlgebra to Precalculus, and explore the fascinating world of Biophysics through project-based learning in computational neurophysiology. The program will also feature STEM-inspired art activities and guest presentations from accomplished women scientists.
