Originating as an Enrichment Teacher, Ali spent four summer seasons at Acera teaching everything from art modalities to engineering to outdoor sciences while pursuing education before joining full time as Acera’s Enrichment Assistant. Prior to joining the school, Ali spent time teaching eighth grade at Northampton Public Schools, as well as over nine years of private tutoring, yoga & fitness instructing, and assisting in equine therapy.
Local to Massachusetts, Ali grew up in various extracurriculars such as youth sports and the arts, which provided opportunities to grow into embedded mentorship roles. These roles, combined with a love of storytelling culture, naturally evolved into the teaching realm. The interconnectivity of community and learning continue to be something that drives her interests in art, literature, hiking & floristry, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
