Acera, a leader in individualized, project-based learning since 2010, has the perfect solution! Get ready for an exciting break filled with passion-filled projects and hands-on learning!

Our vacation programming combines science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM) in engaging, hands-on classes that ignite creativity and curiosity. Kiddos dive into set themes daily through interactive, project-based learning guided by enthusiastic and passionate teachers and staff. From machine design to coding robots, our programs foster discovery and innovation.

Pricing

Half-day program (9:00 – 12:00 or 1:00 – 4:00): $95 per day
Full-day program: $190 per day
Early drop-off (8:00 – 8:30 a.m.): $65 per week
Extended pickup (4:15 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.): $150 per week

Weekly Flat Rate

Book for the entire week (AM & PM, Tuesday–Friday) for $700, which reflects a $60 savings compared to paying full-day prices each day.

Creating with Technology: Art Meets Engineering, ages 5-7

In this playful, hands-on class, young creators will explore the exciting intersection of art and engineering!Through imaginative projects that blend creativity with basic tech tools, students will design and build their own interactive artworks, kinetic sculptures, light-up crafts, and simple machines. Mathsters of Art, ages 8 -10

In this hands-on, minds-on class, students will explore the hidden beauty of math through art! Young “mathsters” will dive into exciting, creative projects that bring geometry and spatial reasoning to life. TEACHER: CAMILA

Creative Computing & Robotics, ages 8-10

This club offers a unique opportunity for students to develop their computational thinking skills while exploring a range of digital tools. The course will feature a variety of tools, including Scratch, CoSpaces, and TinkerCAD. While Chromebooks will be provided, students are welcome to bring their own laptops from home. TEACHER: DANNY

Dungeons & Dragons Role Play, ages 11-14

Create your own characters and weave a story together, from epic quests for treasure to thrilling battles with dangerous foes. TEACHER: CHUCK

Culinary Explorers (Tacos, Pierogi, Muffins, Soups & more!), ages 8 -10

The opportunity to explore new or familiar foods, and, working as a team, slice, dice, peel, measure, and cook until they’ve prepared the finished dish. TEACHER: DYLAN

Sculpting Fabric Animals and Huggable Friends, ages 5-7

In this imaginative and hands-on class, young artists will learn how to turn fabric, felt, and other soft materials into adorable animals and cozy companions. Using simple sewing techniques, fabric sculpting, and creative design, students will dream up their own characters and bring them to life TEACHER: KATHY

Code and Create: Microbits & Scratch Coding, ages 8-10

In this fun and interactive class, students will explore the exciting world of coding through two powerful platforms: Scratch and Micro:bit. TEACHER: FLOR

Soccer Clinic @ Teamworks, ages 8-12

Acera will walk kids from school to the Winchester Community Park Grass Field, 5 min away. The Teamworks Soccer Staff will teach basic soccer skills such as dribbling, passing, and shooting through various drills and games.

Miniature Clay Creations, ages 5-7

Sculpt, mold, and model with clay, From portraits and animals to dragons and cartoon characters. TEACHER: ADRIENNE

Destination Imagination: Creative Challenges, ages 10-14

Unleash your imagination in this fun hands-on course based on the Destination Imagination program, designed for curious minds who love to create and problem-solve. Students will team up to tackle a variety of open-ended challenges that blend science, technology, engineering, arts, and storytelling. TEACHER: MOLLY

Stop Motion Animation, ages 8-10

In this imaginative camp, participants will be able to craft and share a story of their own invention using stop-motion animation. TEACHER: DYLAN

Questcraft: Design. Roleplay. Lead.

In this action-packed class, students will dive into a world of imaginative storytelling, costume creation, prop design, and live-action gameplay. Students will explore themes of teamwork, ethics, problem-solving, and leadership — all while having a blast in immersive, student-led storylines. Participants will design their own characters, build fantasy worlds, and embark on epic quests filled with magic, mythical creatures, and heroic challenges. TEACHER: CHUCK

Parking

Please do not park in any spaces marked for other businesses! Park only in the PURPLE spots indicated on the map below. The spots are located along the tree line behind the school on the left side. YOU RISK BEING TOWED, IF YOU PARK IN NON-ACERA SPOTS. We must respect our other businesses and their customer parking spaces.

Refund Policy

Acera will provide a refund for program cancellations made two weeks prior to the start date. Alternatively, you may transfer enrollment to any other program at no charge.

After two weeks, only transfers are available.

No refund or reduction in fees is possible for a child who arrives late, leaves early, or attends part of a program due to illness (exceptions made for hospital stays).

Refunds will not be provided for students removed from the program due to behavioral issues.

Is Acera nut-free?

We are not a “nut-free” facility, but we have a designated allergen-free eating area. If your child has severe allergies or prescription medications, please contact [email protected] for appropriate support.

Parent Presence Policy

To help maintain a safe, welcoming, and focused environment for all students:

Parents and caregivers are welcome inside the building up to 10 minutes before drop-off or pick-up.

Early pick-up is always permitted — just let a staff member know.

During program hours, we ask that families not remain inside the building, so students can fully engage and thrive in their learning experience.

During walk-in pick-ups we ask all grownups to wait in the lobby and when your kiddos are ready they will come to you.

Removal From Acera Enrichment Programs

Decisions about participation in our enrichment programs are made at the discretion of the instructor and the Enrichment Program Manager. If a student is not able to participate in a safe and productive way, or if the teacher feels that the student is not engaging at a level appropriate for the program, the instructor may ask that s/he switch to a different session, or not return to the program. We have a zero-tolerance policy for physical aggression or verbal and emotional harassment towards other participants.

Refunds will not be provided for students removed from the program due to behavioral issues.
