Get to know more about our school and what makes us truly unique.

Our Adventure Playground is more than just a space for recess; it is an ever-evolving landscape where students test ideas, collaborate, and engage in authentic play. As one second grader aptly put it, “You can create anything if you can imagine it.” This spirit of invention, along with opportunities for students to galvanize others around ideas, fosters creativity, leadership, and resilience—skills that will serve them long after their time at Acera.

The Reed Hollett Enrichment Scholarship Fund was created in 2017 by Reed Hollett’s family and Acera staff in honor of Reed’s memory. Reed was a beloved Acera teacher who passed away unexpectedly in 2015. He passionately believed in the importance of getting children outdoors to experience nature and championed the hands-on, inquiry-driven approach to learning that is the hallmark of Acera’s curriculum, classes, and camps. The Reed Hollett Enrichment Scholarship Fund ensures that low income students who do not attend Acera’s core school day program and can attend Acera’s enrichment programs. This scholarship embodies Reed’s dedication to inclusive and immersive education, helping to carry forward his legacy and passion for learning.
