Wendy has been teaching all ages for over 25 years. She assesses and instructs students
with language-based learning disabilities, as well as provides consultation services to
surrounding public and private schools. She has also been a term lecturer for the MGH-
IHP graduate school. Wendy was closely involved with SMARTS Executive Function
curriculum design, strategy instruction, and teacher training. She is also a contributing
author to the publications Promoting Executive Function in the Classroom and Power of
Peers in the Classroom.
Previously, Wendy was the Director of Reading and Language at the Research Institute
for Learning and Development in Lexington, MA. She taught oral expression and
language arts at Landmark School, as well as high school literature and composition at
the Carroll School. She has also been a reading specialist in several public schools. She is
passionate about multisensory learning and outdoor education. In her free time, Wendy
enjoys spending time outdoors, sipping cold brew, hiking, and traveling with her family.
