The Annual Fund is essential to bringing Acera’s vision to life. It supports everything that makes our school extraordinary—from exceptional teachers and hands-on science to ability-based math and the innovative IMP projects that ignite our students’ passion for learning. Like most independent schools, tuition alone does not cover the full cost of an Acera education. The Annual Fund bridges this gap, ensuring that every student has access to the opportunities, resources, and experiences that define our school. We strive for 100% parent participation, as every gift—no matter the size—demonstrates our shared commitment to Acera’s mission and makes a meaningful impact on our students.

This fund honors Acera teacher Reed Hollett, who passed away suddenly in 2015, and pays for low-income students to attend Acera’s after-school, vacation weeks, and summer enrichment programs. On the first Thursday of February each year, Acera’s Enrichment Program hosts a fundraiser to raise money for this scholarship fund.
Each spring, Acera hosts a lively Silent Auction, bringing together our community to support the school in a fun and meaningful way. Parents, faculty, and friends bid on exciting items and experiences—all donated by local businesses and members of our community—with proceeds directly funding essential school needs. From classroom materials and lab equipment to student programs and faculty resources, the Silent Auction helps ensure our students and teachers have everything they need to thrive. It’s a wonderful weekend of generosity, connection, and celebration of Acera’s mission!
Every year as the school year comes to a close, End-of-Year Giving provides a special opportunity to support Acera’s continued growth and innovation. Donations during this time help fund key projects that enhance our learning spaces and enrich the student experience. A beloved tradition, the 8th Grade Class Gift allows each graduating class to leave a lasting impact on the school. Past gifts have funded a new science lab wall, a refreshed innovation lab floor, and a greenhouse—projects that benefit Acera students for years to come.
