We are thrilled to have Acera Alumnus Emma Jones teaching some of our arts and engineering camps this summer!

Emma attended Acera during her 7th and 8th grade years. Her passion for the arts, particularly in studio art with a concentration in photography and fiber arts, began to flourish.

At Acera, Emma honed critical thinking skills and a strong sense of responsibility for her own learning The school’s emphasis on interdisciplinary learning and community engagement prepared her well for her diverse pursuits in education and the arts.

After Acera, Emma continued her education at Chapel Hill Chauncy Hall in Waltham and is currently pursuing a degree at Skidmore College in Studio Art, graduating in 2025. Her interest in teaching has also emerged, with plans to possibly pursue a career in education.
Outside of academics, Emma enjoys photography, especially concert photography. She also has a keen interest in stand-up comedy, and is activley involved in a club at Skidmore College called Lively Lucy’s!
