The first part of my project was worldbuilding. To guide my process and help with ideas, I used a worldbuilding workbook. The book has helpful, thought provoking questions, which were useful for me think through the systems of my world. I had the idea of this world before it became my project, so I already had characters. This meant that I shaped the world around my characters and their personalities. A character has to be shaped by their experiences. I had already come up with my characters personalities and experiences, and I had to build the world around them. I originally thought that this would be difficult, but it actually made the process easier, as I had something to fall back on and a way to check for loopholes.
