Prior to joining Acera in 2017, Bob taught for seven years at Odyssey Day School in Wakefield, working with students from toddler age through eighth grade. He also served as Grade 5 Head Teacher at the Beebe School in Malden, MA.
At Acera, Bob enjoys supporting students as they develop both the joy and discipline required to advance their mathematical thinking. In addition to serving as a co-teacher in the core classroom, he teaches a wide range of electives, including Cultural Anthropology, the History of Math, and the annual U.S. Government elective. Bob believes students learn best when they love learning, and he is committed to fostering a classroom environment grounded in curiosity, respect, and a deep appreciation for the learning process. His students know that they are valued as individuals and supported in their academic growth.
