Jamie brings a diverse background in education, having served as a high school teacher, department leader, instructional coach, and school administrator. Throughout her career, she has taught courses ranging from A.P. Literature and Composition and History to Sociology, Filmmaking, and Metaphysics, always with a focus on cultivating curiosity, critical thinking, and authentic student engagement.
As a leader, Jamie has extensive experience mentoring and coaching teachers, leading professional development, and supporting curriculum design and innovation. She has presented at gifted education conferences on topics including inquiry-based learning, student engagement, and designing learning experiences that honor the complexity and potential of gifted learners. Her work is grounded in a deep understanding of the social, emotional, and academic needs of gifted students and a commitment to helping schools create environments where those students can thrive.
